Having grown up near the economic hub of Antwerp, Alain developed a strong interest in economics and finance from an early age. He went on to earn his master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Antwerp. As his passion for the industry deepened, Alain realized his goal was to assist executives and families in charting their paths towards a secure retirement. With over 25 years of industry experience, he is deeply committed to providing clients with professional guidance, grounded in his belief that it is never too late to start saving for the future.
Alain Verhille co-founded Auctus Legacy Private Wealth Management in 2024 after 17 years with Merrill Lynch. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) with a practice that concentrates on Executives, Business Owners, Retirees or Pre-retirees, Physicians, Non-Profit Organizations and Retirement Planning Services.
Alain grew up in a town near Bruges and lived in Belgium for 34 years until work as a finance director brought him to the States. He currently resides in Oklahoma City with his wife, Allisa. Of Alain’s accomplishments, he is most proud of his leap to move here without friends and family and build this life and partnership he has created.
Outside of the office, Alain is an active member of his community. He served as a member of the Board of the Oklahoma Museum of Arts Moderns Board, which fosters an appreciation for art among younger children. He is a mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation, which is an international foundation to help women all over the world start and create their own business.
In his free time, he enjoys a variety of activities. His interests include Formula One racing, soccer, traveling, photography, and ballroom dancing. Antiquing and frequenting estate sales allow Alain to express his appreciation for history and he has a lot of success finding treasures from World War II, such as German bank notes. Spending time with family is a priority for Alain and cooking French and Italian-style meals is one of the ways he gets quality time in with them.
